In March 2006, E.ON together with other power companies and the Leipzig Energy Exchange EEX started the "Power generation data transparency initiative". Since then, market participants and all interested parties are able to view power station data such as available output and generated work at the central trading platform www.eex.com.

 

Since February 2007, E.ON has taken this even a step further and is setting new standards with regard to power generation data transparency: we publish detailed power station data on the website www.eon-schafft-transparenz.de. For this, E.ON Kraftwerke bundles the necessary data for the E.ON power generating companies and makes these centrally available on a daily basis.

 

The objective is to inform both the public and market participants about the assignment of our power station park. With that we contribute towards a further enhancement of the transparency on the power market.
